You did the binders. You did the supplements. You're still not where you expected to be.
A free live session with John Kim, Pharm.D., on why mold recovery stalls after the protocol, and what the cell danger response has to do with it.

You found the mold. You moved, or you remediated, or you're working on it.
You started binders. You added a supplement protocol. You cleaned up your diet. You did most of what the podcasts and the practitioners told you to do.
And you got some of the way there. Maybe the fog lifted a little. Maybe the energy came back for a few weeks. Then it stopped, or it slid back, or something you added made you feel worse and you couldn't tell why.
So now you're stuck at 60 or 70 percent of yourself, with a cabinet full of bottles and no clear next step.
That is a very specific place to be, and it has an explanation.
Most mold protocols are built on one idea: get the toxins out and the body recovers.
That's true for a lot of people. For a lot of others it stops short, because the problem isn't only what's in the body. It's the state the body went into to survive the exposure.
Every cell has a built-in defense mode. When it senses a threat, it slows its own metabolism, changes how it talks to the cells around it, and puts survival ahead of everything else. Researchers call this the cell danger response. It's protective, and it's meant to be temporary.
In a long exposure it can stay switched on after the threat is gone. The mold is handled. The binders did their job. And the body is still behaving as if it's under attack. That's what "stuck" feels like from the inside, and it's why adding another supplement so often does nothing, or makes things worse.
In this session I'll walk through what that looks like, how I recognize it in the people I work with, and what has to change in the order of operations for recovery to pick back up.

Please join us. The session will help you understand what's happening in your body. Because a sensitive system needs a slower, gentler pace than a group session can give, after the webinar I'll share a separate path built for highly sensitive cases. Answer the question on the form below and we'll make sure it reaches you.
Join the list for highly sensitive casesJohn Kim, Pharm.D., is a clinical pharmacist who has spent the last decade working with people recovering from mold and environmental exposures, many of whom came to him after conventional and functional approaches had stalled. The ENCORE Method is the sequence he uses in his own practice: Environment, Nervous system, Cellular healing, Optimizing detox pathways, Restoring the microbiome, Enhancing resilience.
